SOAR in Authenticity
To SOAR is to rise rapidly above the usual level of ordinary. Once you do, there is no way back. You will never be same.
What would you like to rise above?
An old job that is not exciting you any more? An unfulfilled relationship that is not inspiring you any more? Perhaps you want to rise above old beliefs that are stopping you from doing what you have always wanted to do , your true calling?
Maybe you want to lift yourself from this frozen, paralysed mode and shoot up to your unlimited potential?
We all come to that point at least once in our lives. We call these moments: Transition Time. I love them! It is the time for Introspection, time for Reconvene with yourself at a much deeper level. In my book SOAR with Vulnerability I talk about Authenticity. What does it mean to be authentic? When was the last time you stopped to ask yourself these questions: Who am I? What am I suppose to do? What is my mission? What is my purpose? AM I living it? AM I being true to myself ? AM I being authentic, real with others? AM I living my truth or AM I just trying to please…over and over again?
Take a moment to find your centre. The place where there are no thoughts. There is no breathing, no mind, no emotions, no body, and still you are. Can you feel it? Can you feel that who you are is much more, and much bigger that your body?
Great! Now go and live it. Rise and Shine. Embrace your uniqueness in connectedness. In your uniqueness reside your greatness. There is no need to look for it any more. It is YOU. It’s been you all along.
Let your authentic uniqueness rise in its transparency, lightness and happiness.
I invite you to leave a comment about the particular transition you might be in right now. You will realize that you are not alone in that situation and that by sharing it, you will help someone else. Let’s get the SOAR Movement in gear!
When did the True Nature of the Soul Begin to Fade?
If you want to change your world, you need to change your consciousness. You want to move out from the world of Illusions and step into the word of Reality. The reality of who you really are. Your True Nature. Your hu-mane Ego will try to convince you otherwise but your soul knows better. The Pillars of Light are now here to help us remember. Just pay attention.
I took this picture,on the left, on December 22, 2012 and only saw the light after taking the picture. Climbing the Bell Rock of Sedona, I allowed myself to stop and listen. No particular reason for taking the picture at that moment, except for this strong energy I was feeling around me and in me. I knew I was surrounded by something much more powerful then the view.
To change our consciousness,we need to be aware and accept that we are all connected as Energies. It is your choice to stay in low density vibrations or to raise your vibrations. It is your thoughts, your beliefs, your judgements that are limiting your vibrations to expand. Change your thoughts and your beliefs and you will change your world.
The time is now. We are surrounded with Love. Accept the Truth of who you are and Let it BE.
Resolutions Everyone Breaks
What is a resolution? A decision or formal statement to do or not to do, to take action or not.
So why do we break our resolutions? This is such a no-brainer and I don’t know why no one talks about it. Here’s a famous quote:
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein
And this is exactly what we – human beings are doing every year through our New Year Resolutions ritual.
After partying all night on the 31st, you get up on the 1st and say: Ok no more indulgence, no more over eating, no more drinking, I will exercise every day, lose that weight, I will be more loving and more patient with my partner, I will get a new and better job, I will be more compassionate, more giving, I will stop smoking, become a vegetarian, take more time to relax, call my parents more often, write a book, bring my business to another level, and I could keep on going on and on…Quite, Get, Find, Join, Help, etc… Have you recognized yourself in one of these? Of course you have.
And why is it that 99% of us found ourselves at the end of the year with the same resolutions for the following year? You did not stop smoking, you did not become a vegetarian, you did not bring your business to another level, etc….
It is because you tried to be someone you are not. You tried to lose weight to please someone else NOT for you, you tried to call your parents out of guilt NOT out of love, you tried to stop smoking because everybody is bugging you to stop, etc. You made resolutions for things you din’t really want to do. You did not have a WHY for either one of them.
And until you know your WHY you are only forcing yourself against your natural path. So why don’t you let it go? Let those phony, superficial resolutions go and start feeling your true self, let your true calling show itself. It is time to recognize YOU and your purpose. Your WHY has been there all along but you have covered it with so much junk that you can’t see it or feel it any more.
Know that all the power is within you and through this power you can do or have anything you desire. Whatever you affirm and accept from within will become a part of your visible experience. Just listen and start making your list.
Not a list of resolutions; but a list of insights that you will manifest as a co-creator of your life.
What you need to do is just BE you. Be you in harmony with your true essence. When you are in harmony with your true essence, it is not complicated and it does not have to be difficult. On the contrary…everything flows!
Just listen, feel it, and let it be.
With Love
Merry Christmas – A Special Message
What is Christmas and what does it mean to you? What does it mean to be in the Christmas Spirit?
I see a lot of people filling out the malls, like the new mall around us at our house in Florida, crazy busy and so much traffic; everyone seems to want to get a last minute gift for a loved one.
Last minute shopping, last minute preparation, last minute decisions, last minute…..rushing, rushing, rushing!
When in reality the biggest gift of all that you can give does NOT need any preparation, or any rushing to. It is always there inside of you, for you to give.
You are the gift, you are Love! Boundless love to share and expand even more on this special time of the year. A celebration of love where our choice and ability to connect with others is amplified, where listening with our true heart, our true self comes naturally, allowing us to see the divine beauty in all and everyone.
The Light is in each one of us all-ways! Even in the most challenging family member, friend or colleague.
So why not try it just for today and see how it feels. Keep the judgements, the meaningless opinions, the contradictions, in a safety box for the day. And just be the Love that you are.
Listen more than you talk, give more than you receive, witness more than you act, be more than you do. Just be fully present in this incredible humane and universal connection.
You never know, you might discover something amazing and decide to keep on doing it for 2015.
Wishing you a wonderful magical day!
In Loving Light,
Suzanne

Am I at ease at this moment?
This past year, my life has been like a roller coaster overcoming many challenges (I will come back to that word later in my post): health issues (of my partner), buy and sell of two houses which have caused three different moves (and you all know what a move implies, right?), multiple visits to the hospital for my elderly mother (540 km away) , and more recently the loss of my beloved Skye.
As you go go go, you do not necessarily take the time to BE in the moment, in the present. So I just reopened Eckhart Tolle’s book Practicing the Power of Now. He says: Presence is the key to Freedom, so you can only be free now. This sits so well!
I found myself alone (not lonely) for the past 15 days and it reminded me of my days in Barbados. Time of reflection, time to witness my mental and emotional state. Am I in the moment? How do I feel? What do I feel? Why? What thoughts do I have? Why?
I came to re-member Acceptance of what is, without judging it. I have to admit, it is not all-ways easy. I am guilty of it too. I found myself with a particular thought, and just reacted on it. The feeling that you get is usually never good. Being the witness of your thoughts, allows for peace and stops you in an action-reaction attitude.
As the past lives inside of you, you can either react from there or act from the present.. You will definitely get a different outcome.
When challenges present itself, I now like to call them Destinations. I understand that each breath that I take, each move that I make is my Destination. Let’s embrace and listen.
The Unknown is so so much better!
In my book SOAR with Vulnerability I talk about the “Security of the Unknown versus the Security of the Known“.
As you read this simple phrase, don’t you feel the limitation of the second option? For me it is so huge. Imagine if you would live in the known all the time?! How boring it would be. No more discovery to make, no more exploration, no more adventure, no more wondering or questioning, no more opportunity to grow and expand. You know it all after all! You have already created this comfort zone space where there is no more place for anything else. Your blackboard is filled with formulas and information, beliefs and habits that define your life.
On the other side, the Unknown is the most exciting and creative playground. There are no rules or limitations of what can be done. The sky is the limit! And of course it is LOL. As you let anything and everything that wants to unfold, unfold. You are called to step outside of your comfort zone? It is because you can. When you engage in the playground of the unknown, it creates different and stimulating experiences for expansion. Expansion to your ultimate place of knowing.
So next time before saying no to a new experience, embrace the opportunity to get closer to your higher knowing. Until then, be happy and excited to say: I don’t know.
Below, you can listen to the Audio Preface of my book
Please feel free to comment and send me your insights about the Unknown! Let’s start this new adventure and explore together.
Authenticity in our Social Life!
I found this interesting video and I thought I would share it with you. I am inviting you to share your comments below.
I feel it goes hand in hand with my previous post about Authenticity. On top of hiding behind this tempered glass, are we all hiding behind our computers, our Facebook page, our IPhone, our Pinterest photos, etc…Are we really and truly connecting? When was the last time you picked up the phone to connect with an old friend or a family member? When was the last time you went on your roller blades, your bicycle or just went for a walk? What about sharing a non-interrupted face to face conversation with someone? Take a look below. Do you recognize yourself?
Authenticity is the New Sexy!
If that is true, why is there so many people still hiding behind this big tempered glass?
Honestly I don’t know why! But what I do know, is that the people who are still standing behind that glass are the ones missing on their lives, their gifts, their blessings and true love. Not true love as finding the perfect mate or soul mate but as finding their true selves.
The true meaning of embracing your Authentic Vulnerability is about being transparent at all time. Transparent means to be clear, honest, integrous and in full harmony with who you are. Not some of the time but ALL of the time. It is about being true/transparent to yourself at all time.
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you were invited to a party, family reunion, business event, etc….where your true self did not want to go? It doesn’t matter why. What matters is that your true self did not want to participate in this particular life experience. Nevertheless you put up your suit, entered your tempered glass and went along for the ride. Not listening to your higher self and your intuition, you went along pretending that you wanted to be there, pretending to enjoy a situation or even people that you did not feel like being with at this particular moment.
Oye! Why? Why do we do this? Why do we this to ourself and to others? Why do we go against the grain of our natural beingness?
I can promise you that from the moment you stop playing that game, your whole surrounding will change along with you. I dare you to be Authentic, Transparent and Outrageous and give it to yourself once.
At least once and let me know how it turned out!.
How to Get Over It?
My last post is still lingering in me and probably will, for many more days if not, weeks to come.
In the meantime Life must go on!
And part of this life is to overcome our own limitations, boundaries, fears, challenges, crisis and doubts.
Doubts about ourselves, our reasons of being here, our purpose, our true mission.
Mary Buchan, Author of the forthcoming book OVER IT, explains it so well in her book, as she has overcome her own IT.
Mary dedicates her book to women everywhere who are committed to overcoming any circumstances that keep them from being their authentic selves. “You are overcomers. You are mothers and wives and sisters. You are business women and homemakers and dreamers. Your are visionaries and volunteers. You are artists and musicians and poets and advocates for creating the best possible world” she says.
Mary Buchan is an author, a singer, a songwriter, a nurse, a coach, a wife, a mother, a MidlifestyleRNventor. She is conducting a Book Blog Hop right now and she is inviting you to join her.
By clicking this link you will be able to listen to the second part of an interview I was so privileged to have with Mary. Please do not hesitate to email her at: mary@marybuchan.com to find out how she did it!
